In 2017, Craig Newmark, founder of Craigslist, launched the 50 Bricks Matching Challenge to expand and strengthen NYC Veterans Alliance programs, brick by brick.
By the end of 2018, Craig donated a total of $200,000 alongside our 50 top donors since we started in 2015 to establish a firm, lasting foundation to help us build impactful programs that advance veterans and families as civic leaders in 2019 and beyond. These donors will be known in perpetuity as the NYC Veterans Alliance's 50 Bricks Founding Donors.
